Description
One of kind set of 2 antique wooden jury chairs from the house of the Utah State Legislature.
Based on my research, they appear to be the type of chair that jurors sat in but may have had other purposes. They would be great in a home library or perhaps a law office. Lots of history--consecutively numbered H236 and H237 on the Utah State Legislature metal tags affixed to the bottom. Worn brass fittings surround the front legs with metal stud protectors on the bottom (one missing.) There are some dings here and there adding character and a few paint spatters but are in overall very good condition.
It's not often that I find a treasure that I can guarantee to be one of a kind, so finding these was a lot of fun. They will make a great conversation piece no matter where they are utilized.
