We are pleased to offer this exquisite pair of neoclassical apothecary jars from Maison A Collin Porcelaines & Cristaux, from France circa 1870s. These jars are not just decorative pieces; they are examples of actual 19th-century pharmacy jars of a bygone era.

Each jar is a typical neoclassical form with a removable lid. Crafted from high-caliber porcelain. What makes them truly exceptional examples is the hand-painted bold violet gilt decorations featuring winged griffins, framed with circular cartouches that bear the stenciled label "Elect: Alkerm," while the other jar is stenciled with "Man: Lacrym."

One jar is marked with the red company backstamp, further verifying its authenticity and provenance.
