Framed aquatint etching on paper, "Two Figures Dancing", from the portfolio "Tres Aguafuertes en Color," c.1939. The framed aquatint is signed lower left C. Orozco R. (Carlos Orozco Romero (Mexican, Guadalajara 1898–1984 Mexico City), 1939. "Two Figures Dancing" is also in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (see link below for more information).

Carlos Orozco Romero (September 3, 1896 – March 29, 1984) was a Mexican cartoonist and painter who co-founded several cultural institutions in Mexico, including the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado "La Esmeralda". His work was recognized with membership in the Academia de Artes and the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, and in 1980, with Mexico's Premio Nacional de Arte (National Art Prize). His works are in major museums, such as the MET and British Museum, along with other private collections.
