Vintage French Marble Ormolu Column Clock

Description

Vintage 19th century French Louis XVI style calacatta viola marble clock. Beautiful & Elegant comprising a demilune portico clock. The top features a detailed brass bird with outstretched wings perched on a decorative acanthus leaf mount. The clock is decorated with mounted gilt metal flaming urns, pine cones finials, laurel leaf mouldings and with four Classical Doric columns. The face of the clock has a small pink floral design with Western Arabic numbers. The pendulum is in the shape of a sunburst.
