Stoneware water jar table lamp with woven rattan detailing. Unglazed clay vessel with original rattan wrapping and loop handles, later converted to a table lamp and paired with a newer shade.

Originally acquired from the McGuire Furniture showroom during the period when founders John and Elinor McGuire were still at the helm.

Jar retains its original impressed maker's stamp adding a distinctive hallmark of the workshop's production and belies the original intended use for the jar (likely oil or water storage). The finish retains raku-like evidence of firing the clay. Hand-wrapped in a rattan cage for protection and safe transport. Leviton brass 3-Way socket and 12' 8' brown electrical cord.

Well suited for organic modern, coastal, and globally influenced interiors, functioning as a grounded, textural accent.
