Beautifully textured clear crystal glass bowl pendant chandelier by legendary Swedish glass designer Vicke Lindstrand (1904-1983) for Orrefors. The fixture can take up to three 75 watt bulbs and has a segmented center stem with the original glass canopy.

We can easily shorten the fixture to your specifications by removing any of the glass segments.

Lindstrand began his career at Orrefors in 1928, where he worked independently alongside Edward Hald and Simon Gate. He made his debut as designer at the Stockholm World Fair in 1930 and enjoyed swift prominence as one of Orrefors' design stars until the mid-1940's. He briefly became the lead designer in ceramics at Uppsala Ekeby before continuing his career in the art glass industry at Kosta in the 1950's. Today, Lindstrand is considered one of the greatest glass artists of the twentieth century.
