Important and impressive pair of Art Deco period candelabras by noted American metalworking shop, Palmer Smith ( Arthur Jesse Palmer Model 173 B 1939-41 ). The candlesticks feature four candle cups which descend in a graduated order. The candle arms are mount to an oval plinth base.
Both pieces are in very good original condition showing only light cosmetic wear normal and consistent with age. Some candle cups show evidence of prior use, specifically visible lines from colored wax, please see images.
