This fabulous and very rare set of vintage circa 1960's French faience dinnerware features; 8 dinner plates, 8 soup bowls, 8 asparagus plates, 8 scallop-edge luncheon or dessert plates, 8 bread plates, 8 coffee cups, 8 saucers,4 condiment/berry bowls, 4 canapé plates, 4 demitasse cups, 4 demitasse saucers, 1 cream pitcher, 1 sugar bowl w/lid, 1 large serving platter, 1 soup tureen w/lid, 106 pieces in total. There are additional plates and pieces as pictured. Motton was part of the exclusive Faiencerie Gien Group in France. Some of this set was made especially for Rouard, Paris. The earthenware shows through the White glaze on the edges which gives the dishes an attractive slight blush to the designs as pictured. Condition is excellent, this set appears unused.
