Large, approx. 3'x4', signed painting of horses, potentially arcade rides, in blues, yellows and greens with checkerboard, numbers and words on a thick canvas. Signed Matsuda 1970. Abstracted shapes create a surreal scene reminiscent of Bauhaus school and Cubist painters of the mid 20th century. The image wraps the sides of the canvas, a very special feature. A significant piece to anchor a room over a couch, table or bed. Reminds one of an Hermes scarf.
