Iconic Space Age Parrot, or Gojan, hanging cage chair, designed by IB Arberg, for ABRA Mobler made in Sweden circa 1970's. The chair features a chrome framed upholstered seat, which is suspended from a black steel arm, which is anchored by a four star base.
Modernist design from the optimistic futurist aesthetic popular in the mid 20th C. This example is in very good, original, clean and ready to use condition, it probably originally had two side cushions, no longer present.
