Vintage distressed mid 20th century gouache on artist board by Edward Dawson-Watson (1893-1978) Texas. Stylized, action packed scene of a cowboy on black and white paint horse fighting off a black mountain lion. Signed lower right. Unframed, image size 8" x 5" right side has had water damage leaching color from the blue paint and leaving gray spots, margins of cardboard have adhesive remains, losses and damage. Mat would hide the distressed margins, only showing the loss of color on the right side of the painting. Looks good as is or get it restored.
