(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. A.L. [unsigned], 1p. 4to., [n.p., n.d. but postmarked on accompanying cover Vacaville, Mar. 22, 1983], on lined notepaper to Manson’s biographer Nuel ‘Mel’ Melton (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. In part: ‘…When you find someone who thinks they know something – check your self by asking if you can ever knew anyone over 10 years to 20 years old that tells the truth – as if there word is good – Whos Bull Shiting you there was never any guy at that ranch named Rainbow – There was a Barbara Rainbow & each girl had a color – As you live in lies you are trapted in your own reflection…now your trap[p]ed in the same old same old & it’s a fair play circle…feeding off the blood of the children & eating up the earth…you can keep eating duck until the top of your head pops of[f] become the rat and lie snich mickey mouse runs after ducks & the owls watch the show & all the people who had no love for the earth can become TV cops - keep your money I want nothing you got…loved you but your lack of concern even destroyed the air & water by playing off the truth…’. Manson includes copies of four pages from auction catalogs that include material written by him. With original envelope signed ‘Manson’ in return address, very good.
