Lot comprised of 8 items, including: Stereoview featuring a view of a political rally, possibly held during Grant's 1868 presidential election (as per consignor's note). Peterborough, NH: George H. Scripture. -- 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. photograph on cardstock mount showing four men standing before a building with sign that reads, "Bryan & Sewall Campaign Club, 16th Ward." Uncredited, taken during the 1896 presidential election in which democrats William Jennings Bryan and Arthur Sewall ran. -- Outdoor portrait of William McKinley seated with Theodore Roosevelt. Copyrighted in lower margin by Pach Brothers, New York, 1900. 9 1/4 x 12 3/4 in. silver gelatin photograph on 16 x 20 in. mount with Pach Brothers imprint at lower right (overall very good). -- Stereoview of William McKinley and his advisors. Arlington, NJ: Underwood & Underwood. -- Public Exercises in loving memory of William McKinley, late President of the United States. 19 September 1901, Paterson, NJ. 7 x 5 1/2 in. double-sided program printed on thin cardstock with black mourning border for the memorial service of President William McKinley, who was shot by Leon Czolgosz while he was at a public reception during the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY, on 6 September 1901 (some soiling, scattered spotting). -- Roosevelt for President. New York: Roosevelt Non-Partisan League, [1912]. Printed pamphlet, 4pp., promoting Roosevelt for President in 1912 (some folds, chipping to edges, occasional soiling throughout). Roosevelt ran as the candidate for the New Progressive "Bull Moose" Party, which he formed, but ultimately lost to Woodrow Wilson in 1912. -- 2 silver gelatin photographs, each approx. 14 x 17 in., documenting the Wilson Inauguration in Washington, DC, 4 March 1913 (toning to prints, some silvering to margins, some creasing and wear to edges).
