Serhii Iovych Kachyn

The artist was born in 1966 in Kirovgrad, Sverdlovsk region. In 1982, he graduated from the Ural College of Applied Arts. In 1989, he opened his stained glass workshop. His stained glass windows can be seen in various cities of Russia and Ukraine.

He graduated from KSU and became a psychologist.

Since 2005, he has been practicing glass decoration and making art glass and mirrors, using various techniques (fusing, chemical etching, working with a sandblasting machine, etc.).

In 2009, he returned to painting and free art.

In 2010, he organized and headed the Chuguyiv Art Union. In 2012, he became a member of the National Union of Artists.

Serhii Kachyn is a permanent participant of all-Ukrainian, regional and city exhibitions. His paintings can be found in many countries - China, America, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Singapore and others.
