Description

Philippines, Moro, probably Sulu Kalis late 19th - early 20th century. Very fine Moro kris sword with asang asang in silver and profusely inlaid in silver to the blade with a gently curved wavy blade. Carabao horn scabbard foot with silver bands. Grip in tightly woven fibers and engraved silver bands. Pommel possibly in fruit wood.
