About the artist: Was born on October 22, 1938 in the city of Odessa. Son of M. God. Graduated from: Odessa Art School (1953 - 1955), Kiev Art School (1958). Teachers by profession - A. Atsmanchuk, O. Lopukhov. Painter. He worked in the field of easel painting. Early canvases are marked by drama, tragic-patriotic sound; landscape works are characterized by lyric and poetic tonality, bright plein-air solutions, moderate expression. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1962). Laureate of the E. Bagritsky Regional Komsomol Prize (1967). Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR (1969). Participated in exhibitions: republican (1960), all-Union (1961), foreign (1963). Major works: "Sunflowers" (1960), "Subbotnik" (1961), "Thirst" (1964), "The Red Knight" (1964-1965), "Soldiers Who Sleep" (1967), "Border" (1969) , "Nameless Height" (1969); landscapes - "A Girl by the Sea" (1960), "Dandelion" (1970), "On Karolino-Bugaz" (1971), "Childhood" (1978), "Sunflowers of Ukraine" (1978), "Khadzhibeyevsky Estuary" (1979) , "Spring day. Baths of Sofia "(1982)," Sailboat "(1989)," Autumn "(1990)," Seagull "(1993)," On the Beach "(1995); portraits - M. Gritsenko (1963), M.
