Vintage Sterling Floral Brooch, 1940's-1950's, Signed Michels believed to be Jo Michels, who was based in New York in 1940s and 1950s. This is hallmarked on a cartouche on the back center of the brooch that reads MICHELs and sterling under the name. The brooch has an appx. weight of 15.09 grams and tests as sterling in addition to being marked. It has a long-locking clasp that is sightly off center across the long side of the brooch. The brooch measures appx. 2.5" wide and 1-5/8" tall. Jo Michels pieces bring upward of $100 to $170.00 in most cases. This is in very good conditon. (NY2.1X5 SS15806 J LD 5/15/25).
