Vintage Beaded/Sequins Chief Bolo Tie, White/Green/Gray, 34" with Tassels, 1970's-1980's. This has a glass seed beaded Native American Chief with large dark green sequin headdress and faux pearls and gold tone beads with tassels in white and clear gray and metallic beads and well as black beaded hair and orange beads in the face with a single red bead for lips. The slide is appx. 3.5" long and 2.25" wide. It has a double elastic loop on the back to create the slide - that could be tightened a little with a few stitches or gle to create a tighter slide as the braided white tie slides through those loops too easily. The tie can be looped at the bottom of the slide too to stop the drop fo the slide. there are round seed bead wraps around the ends of the white cord that is appx. 4mm wide that are appx. 2.25" long (and part of the overall measurement) that match the tassel on the slide itself. The back of the slide is leather or leatherette and is framed by white seed beads. The cord is appx. 34" long. Very clean and very good condition - other than the slide needing a little adjustment. I think you could also slide a small piece of straw in the slide and it would stop the slide from dropping. It is not marked or signed. (W2724.5 SS14047 J LD 6/3/24).
