Both dolls have painted pale blue eyes. 14 1/2" Doll 1) has a molded bonnet and pretty brown hair with individual brush strokes. She has fair coloring. This was probably made by Dressel, Kister & Co., Porcelain Factory. Cloth body with china lower limbs, painted black boots. Beautiful period costume of sheer organza with pleated trim, aqua silk bows and covered buttons. Sized cotton teddy, petticoat, pantaloons. Doll 2) 13" marked "9", has painted center part hair, pierced ears. Cloth body with unglazed lower arms and legs with black heeled boots. Wearing a sheer pink cotton tulle dress with silk ribbon and metallic braid trims. Sized cotton petticoat, pantaloons. Complimentary hat. Condition: some age loss on clothing of both dolls.
