Description: Made in France in the late 1950's early 1960's this Chandelier is most likely a design from Arlus or Disderot . Original brass , some oxidation , fitted with American socket .It is the last time in France that it was possible to produce and offer brass pieces of this quality , the mass production of the 1960's was just around the corner and turned the page on small atelier to open the age of cost saving .The brass arm and design can be found with the work of Royere , Mouille and Guariche and is definitely a 1960's production. It will fit any modernist interior and can bring a warmer touch to a pure Eames style furniture set. The "diabolo" reflector has a clear Guariche touch , it can be found during the late 1950 early 60's in diferent form as light globes. or reflector.
Rewired , size H.26 in x D.20 in , globe 6 x 6 the rod could be made shorter if necessary ,rewired with US socket Glass globe .good antique condition.I can be reach at the
