Chinese inside painted glass snuff bottle decorated with finely detailed landscape scenery. The bottle is painted internally with traditional Chinese motifs including mountains, trees, and a pavilion in a mountainous setting, with a bird perched on a branch on the reverse side. The painting is executed in soft tones of blue, grey, and earth colors, creating a classic literati landscape composition. The bottle is topped with a stopper featuring a blue cabochon style finial mounted in a metal collar. Accompanied by a carved wooden display stand. Approx. 3.5 in H (bottle).
