Chinese blue and white porcelain vase decorated with a large phoenix among stylized flames and cloud motifs. The lower section with geometric border decoration and the shoulder with additional scrolling ornament.The base bearing an underglaze blue six-character Hongzhi mark within double circles, likely apocryphal. Similar decorative wares were produced during the 20th century in imitation of earlier Ming dynasty styles.

Overall good decorative condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Firing imperfections and light surface wear present.
