Chinese porcelain covered box decorated to the lid with a figural scene of a rider accompanied by attendants in a stylized landscape. The sides with simple floral motifs and the rim outlined in iron red.Such decorative porcelain wares were commonly produced during the early to mid-20th century for both domestic use and export markets.

Overall good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Light staining and minor surface wear present. No major damage observed.
