Description: The Poet at the Breakfast Table by Oliver Wendell Holmes, published by John C. Winston Company Chicago Philadelphia Toronto, printed in England Collins' Cleartype Press London and Glasgow.
This is a beautiful little book in very attractive condition. Full leather cover with gilt print of author's name in a slant across the front cover, gilt decoration and title on spine. Gilt is bright, not faded. Top edge gilt, maroon colored endpapers, illustrations in black and white, some light age toning to page edges.
No writing inside or out, very clean. Binding tight and square, no missing, torn or loose pages, hinges intact. Small tear bottom edge of spine, wear at spine ends, small piece worn off on upper end of spine. Corners worn with small amount of edges worn off. Upper foredge of cover starting to separate from board from top to about 2 down. Matching color ribbon page marker attached to book.
