Beautifully bound and in excellent condition, gilt upper pages. Marked Vol. 20 in pencil upper ffep with a signature mid page and the date 1894.
Book appears to be unread as it is very tight and some pages are uncut with two pages together. Binding tight and square, hinges fine. Foreedge and lower page edges rough cut.
Textblock very clean. No loose torn or missing pages.
Trace of wear to corners; minor wear to spine caps; small stain, crease to first two pages.
This book is by the iconic author James Fenimore Cooper and is very attractive and appealing.
