Description: THE PATRIOT BY PEARL S. BUCK, 1939 First Edition, The John Day Company. Hardcover, tan cloth boards with gilt and embossed design & title to front cover & spine. 372 pps.
Book is in Good condition, missing dust jacket, topstained pages, uncut fore edges. Spine sunned, some staining to covers, minor fraying, small chips, puckering to spine caps. Hinges starting, not detached. Bookplate to rfep, #12 in pencil on same page. Front endpaper has two blobs which look like glue, some age toning to pages. No other writing inside or out, no missing or torn pages, corners lightly bumped, right corner slightly worn.
