A pair of Meissen sweet dishes, 19th century,

one modelled as a gallant, the other modelled as a lady, each supporting a floral encrusted oval basket, raised on a scroll moulded base, with blue crossed swords mark, incised '2863', to the gallant, the lady with '2858'

Condition Report:

Nibbles to the floral encrusted pieces. Rubbing to the decoration/ gilt.
Firing crack to the gallants dish. Arm with overpainting. Crack to the neck/ check possibly from manufacture.
