The design follows Bulgari’s well-known Monete style, where historical coins are framed in gold and spaced along a substantial gold chain. Each coin is silver and set in a smooth gold bezel. The necklace features eight different Roman denarii, each from a distinct period. Included are a Denario Traiano (98–117 dC), Denario Caracalla (198-117dC), Denario Adriano (117–138 dC), Denario Antonio Pio (138–161 dC), Denario Settimo Severo (193–211 dC), Denario Alessandro Severo (222–235 dC), Denario Massimino Trace (235–238 dC), and Denario Domiziano (81–96 dC). Together, they span more than a century of Roman history. With a classic Bulgari Monete design that highlights ancient Roman coins in a wearable way, this Bulgari necklace clearly makes a statement. The necklace is 38" x 1/4", the coins are 3/4" in diameter. The weight is 259.8 grams.
