Norman Rockwell autographed 7.5 x 10” glossy black and white photograph depicting the famed illustrator seated beside an easel displaying one of his paintings while working in his studio. The photograph is signed in blue ink along the lower margin, “Sincerely, Norman Rockwell.”
Near fine condition with only subtle age wear.
Norman Rockwell (1894–1978) was one of the most beloved illustrators in American history and a defining visual chronicler of 20th-century American life. Best known for his hundreds of cover illustrations for “The Saturday Evening Post,” Rockwell captured scenes of everyday life with warmth, humor, and meticulous detail. Later in his career he created powerful socially conscious works for “Look” magazine addressing issues such as civil rights and social justice, including the iconic painting “The Problem We All Live With.”
