Leroy Neiman autographed 5 x 7" postcard featuring his vibrant artwork of Willie Stargell in a Pittsburgh Pirates uniform. The colorful sports-themed image is signed prominently along the lower portion in black marker. Postcard reverse identifies the work as Neiman’s original serigraph “Willie Stargell.”

Fine condition. Includes an affixed JSA authentication sticker on verso and matching JSA COA card.

LeRoy Neiman (June 8, 1921 – June 20, 2012) was an American artist best known for his brilliantly colored, expressionistic paintings and prints of athletes, sporting events, and celebrities. His distinctive style became synonymous with high-profile sporting events including the Olympics, boxing championships, and major league baseball. Neiman’s work captured the energy and movement of competition, making him one of the most recognizable sports artists of the 20th century.
