Francis G. “Greg” Neubeck Autographed Commemorative Postal Cover – U.S. Air Force Astronaut and Aerospace Engineer

Offered is a commemorative postal cover hand-signed by Francis Gregory “Greg” Neubeck, a U.S. Air Force officer, engineer, and one of the original Air Force Manned Orbiting Laboratory (MOL) astronauts selected during the height of the space race.

Fine condition.

Greg Neubeck (b. 1932) was selected as part of the elite MOL program in 1965, a classified military space initiative aimed at conducting reconnaissance from orbit aboard a modified Gemini spacecraft. Although the MOL program was canceled before any crewed flights took place, Neubeck was one of only 17 men chosen for this highly secretive and technically advanced mission track. He also served as an Air Force test pilot and engineer and later held senior leadership positions in aerospace systems management.
