Ezer Weizman autographed First Day Cover issued for the 30th Anniversary of Israel’s Independence, postmarked April 23, 1978, Jerusalem. The cover features a complete set of five commemorative Israeli stamps honoring Abraham Stern, Yitzhak Sadeh, David Raziel, Dr. Moshe Sneh, and Yitzhak Tabenkin, with cancellation marks. Weizman has signed in bold blue ink.

Ezer Weizman (1924–2005) was a key figure in Israel’s military and political history. He served as Commander of the Israeli Air Force, Minister of Defense, and later as Israel’s seventh President from 1993 to 2000. Renowned for his outspoken personality and pragmatic approach, Weizman played a pivotal role in strengthening Israel’s air power and contributed to the peace process with Egypt that led to the Camp David Accords.
