Yitzhak Hofi (1927–2014) was an Israeli general and intelligence officer who served as Director of the Mossad from 1974 to 1982. A veteran of the Haganah and the IDF, Hofi rose to command the Northern Command before leading Israel’s intelligence service during a critical period that included the aftermath of the Yom Kippur War and the historic Camp David peace accords. His leadership was marked by decisive operations and contributions to Israel’s security.
