William J. Brennan Jr. autographed 4.5 x 3.5” official card bearing the printed letterhead “Supreme Court of the United States, Washington 13, D.C.” Brennan has signed prominently across the center in blue ink, “Wm J. Brennan Jr.”

William J. Brennan Jr. (1906–1997) served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1956 to 1990. Appointed by Dwight D. Eisenhower, Brennan became one of the most influential justices of the twentieth century. A central figure of the Warren Court, he helped shape modern constitutional law through landmark decisions involving civil rights, freedom of speech, criminal procedure, and the expansion of individual liberties under the Constitution.
