Description: Pair of Modernist Expressionist acrylic on canvas abstract landscape with a silhouette of a person standing in a sea made of geometric-shaped buildings signed "Carlo" for Carlo of Hollywood. Each painting is featured in the original Mid-century frames chosen by the artist. Signed: Carlo (Carlo of Hollywood) Dimensions: 47.5 x 15.5 United States, 1950 Carlo of Hollywood was an American artist. Not much is known about their background or biography, but their work typically dates back to the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s. It is rumored that Carlo of Hollywood was, in fact, a relation to Lucille Ball’s husband, Desi Arnaz, and was one of the set designers for I Love Lucy.
