About the artist: Kotmin Dmitry - painter, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Kotmin Dmitry was born in the village of Popeliv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Graduated from Odessa State Art College named after Grekov. The artist performs works in different genres, but gives preference to the landscape. It shows the picturesque landscapes of native Carpathians and no less native Nikolayevshchina. His unique style can be determined immediately by the true national color. Friends, colleagues, fans of creativity came to congratulate Dmitry on the discovery. Speakers noted that Kotmin Dmitry is one of the most famous landscape painters of Nikolayevshchina. It was said that on his canvases nature is depicted in its various states. The artist’s brush noticed the slightest nuances that we may not even notice around us. The artist’s paintings can be compared with the work of the best poets who praised the nature of their native land - Dmitry Pavlichko, Pavel Tychina, Ivan Franko and others.
