Description

The Viking period through early Crusades. Bronze, size 5-5 ¼, oval form, for wear on the small finger as was the custom. Rounded face 2.2mm width band. The shoulders are slightly flared and ridged. The top is hand engraved with a four-point Star of Bethlehem on stipple field. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.103. Professionally refurbished with a pure silver overlay restored for modern wear. It comes with a certification of authenticity and is gift-boxed.
