Silvered bronze. Stylized shield shape in two horizontal crescents, undoubtedly a heraldic reference to the family history of fighting the Muslims in the Crusades and later. Just over 1/2" height. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored on a modern Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
