Description

17th-18th century, Orthodox rite. Silvered bronze, just under 2 1/4" (2.21”) height including the suspension loop. High relief decoration with raised borders and central cross with inscriptions at the beam terminals. Reverse with raised edges and filled with Cyrillic script. Surface lightly textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored and on an 18” modern sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
