Description: This is a very attractive and decorative map of the ‘Low Countries’ of Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with parts of France and England including London. Great deal of topographical, river, lake, marsh and settlement details are shown. An elaborate cartouche shows the heraldic shields of the 17 provinces as well as Neptune and Hermes with a globe indicating the Dutch East Indies. Titled in French along the top of the map.

Condition

Very Good-Good. Sharp strike, with original hand coloring. Faint damp stain and some finger soiling. Expertly restored on verso via adding a new thicker paper backing. Issued centerfold.
