This is a sweet little Victorian cottage side table with hand painted tortoiseshell detail on the top and the front of the drawer. It is quite old, most likely from the 1850s, and wears its age charmingly well. There is a bit of the lower right corner of the front of the drawer missing, but I believe that is commensurate it to its age and the life it has lived. It would make a perfect table at the end of a sofa or even a nightstand. A perfect piece for cottage or Shabby Chic decor.
