Excellent example of Southwoods chair and ottoman design and fine construction. Heavy high quality red cotton fabric has no signs of wear. There is red and tan piping and a matching red and tan diagonal designed skirt. Mahoganhy feet on the chair and ottoman. The dimensions of the ottoman are 33"x23"x19"H.
Southwood was the premier US manufacturer of fine furniture especially sofas, chairs and ottomans. Southwood closed down in 2014. No new Southwood fine furniture has been available for over a decade. Now only used furniture can be purchased. Used high quality Southwood furniture with little signs of use is in very limited supply. This chair and ottoman fits that description.
