Description

Elegant and versatile vintage game table by the Bombay Company, dating to the 1980s. This finely crafted piece features a richly detailed parquetry veneer throughout, showcasing warm wood tones and classic traditional styling. The rectangular top conceals a slide-out reversible game surface with a chess and checkers board, opening to reveal a backgammon interior with fitted storage compartments for game pieces on both sides.
The table is supported by turned barley-twist legs joined by a sculpted stretcher base with a matching veneered lower shelf, adding both visual interest and structural balance. Designed to function equally well as a console table, sofa table, or dedicated game table, this piece blends decorative appeal with practical use.
