Gilded Neoclassical carved wood Louis XVI Bergere chair. Fine carved details on this chair made in France. Vintage blue and cream striped chair with pink floral details.

This chair was once in the presidential Neff Hall at Baylor University in Texas. Baylor is a private university near Waco. Later the chair became part of the Estate of Frank J. Nix a prominent Waco businessman. A rare statement piece.

It's a fine example of Louis XVI 19th C Bergere.
