Tabriz circa 1960 A mid-20th century Persian (Iranian) silver twin handled sugar bowl
Pahlavi period. Of compressed circular form upon four scroll feet. Engraved decoration of scene of Mount Ararat, and Yerevan opera house inscribed 'Yerevan' in Armenian text underneath. Gilt interior. Russian soviet era import marks underneath. Together with an Isfahan chased dish with pierced edge, marked underneath. (2)
