An Edwardian sterling silver mounted glass combination inkwell, desk time piece and stamp box, Birmingham 1906 by John Grinsell and Sons
Rectangular form, the inkwell with hinged time piece clock, the double stamp case with hinged lid engraved with a presentation inscription reading “Presented to William Thomas Lindsay by Charles S. Orde, R. H. Inglis Palgrave and A. Redmond Buxton with affectionate remembrance of 55 years faithful service in Gurney’s bank. Lowestoft 30th April 1910”. Fully marked, stamped RD 476070.
