Born April 13, 1912 in Odessa. Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1947). Studied with O. Shovkunenko. Member of World War II. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "Song of Batkivshchyna" (1949); Favorite Lesson (1957); TG Shevchenko's Native Places (1961); "Morning at the boarding school" (1965) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1949. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. Died in 2011
