Anatoly Mikhailovich Zhezher - was born on December 5, 1937 in the city of Dneprodzerzhinsk, Dnepropetrovsk region. Studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art School. Teachers: G. G. Chernyavsky, M. I. Rodzin, and M. S. Borovsky. Since 1961 he participates in regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Works in the field of easel painting. Since 1978 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Works of the artist are in the Dnepropetrovsk Art and History Museums, the Museum of History of Dneprodzerzhinsk, private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, Hungary, Poland, France, Austria and others. In 2014 Anatoly Mikhailovich Zhezher was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. The artist died on September 20, 2020.
