This classic Akoya pearl is a type of cultured saltwater pearl originating from Japan and has a characteristically white colour, with a vibrant overtone.
These round pearls are 8.5x9mm in size, and have been selected for their exceptional quality and very sharp lustre.
The pearls have some light natural growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace.
The necklace is fastened with an elegant yellow gold clasp, which has a polished finish. (hallmark on the clasp)
The clasp is safe and easy to open/close.
The 45cm necklace should sit just below the collarbone and is individually hand-knotted between each pearl for safety and comfort.
