Vintage Heavy Sterling Navy ED Bracelet, 8", 1940's, it is engraved very lightly with a hand engraving that reads Johnson, w.S. and the next line 249-84-48 and third line U.S.N. This could be buffed off and reengraved as it is very light. The bracelet is marked sterling and tested. Weight is papx. 34.18 gr. The clasp is a sliding handcuff style clasp that was s lightly bent but has been flattened. The curb link is hevy and 8.5mm wide. The plate on top is appx. 2-1/8" wide and appx. 1/2" tall with a curved over the wrist. The clasp is not perfect as mentioned. It was bent and has been reshaped and holds the bracelt. Heavy oxidation which will polish away. It is not signed by the maker. (W31318.1X1 SS9881 J LD 3/4/23).
